Swiss Pavilion at BioJapan 2023

Twenty-two innovative companies showcase Swiss biotech technology

From October 11-13, at Pacifico Yokohama, the Swiss Business Hub Japan in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan and the Consulate of Switzerland, Swissnex in Japan, organized the Swiss Pavilion to showcase advanced Swiss biotech technology at BioJapan 2023. With 16’138 visitors, these three days were marked by successful interactions and activities for the twenty-two Swiss Pavilion exhibitors, who were able to establish numerous meaningful connections with both Japanese and international visitors.

Switzerland, much like Japan, is making strides in the field of life sciences and biotechnology, driven by a commitment to innovation. Switzerland boasts a multitude of forward-thinking startups and established R&D institutions dedicated to pioneering cutting-edge biotech solutions. These efforts are supported by Switzerland’s unique “Switzerland Innovation” ecosystem, fostering fruitful partnerships between industry and higher education. Also, through partnerships with Japanese companies, exhibitors will strive to develop new technologies, explore next-generation possibilities for growth in the global marketplace, and work together to build a sustainable future.
