AI & Robotics in Assistive Technology: Swiss – Japanese Perspectives

The Science & Technology Office Tokyo, Embassy of Switzerland in Japan is organizing a half-day symposium, in collaboration with the Spinal Cord Injury & Artificial Intelligence Lab (SCAI Lab) at ETH Zurich and the project “Adaptable AI-enabled Robots to Create a Vibrant Society” led by Prof. Yasushia HIRATA of Tohoku University, which is part of Japan’s Moonshot R&D Program Goal 3. This event will explore how society can be empowered through AI and robotics by 2050 in the field of assistive care. It will bring together representatives from research, industry and medical/healthcare front from Switzerland and Japan to present future technologies for elderly care, chronic conditions and rehabilitation.
