Ranked as the “most beloved jazz band in Switzerland” by Radio Swiss Jazz, the Swing Kids have performed at numerous concerts and festivals both at home and abroad. Their international activities include performances in Brazil and appearances in European television programs as well as in a Uniqlo Europe commercial.

The band is led by Dai Kimoto, a trumpet player originally from Kurashiki City who now resides in Switzerland. For his contributions in the fields of music, education, and social engagement, he became the first foreign national to receive the Grand Prize for Culture from the government of the Canton of Thurgau. On stage, he not only conducts and performs but also entertains the audience with heartwarming stories about his interactions with the children.

The Swing Kids’ concerts provide not only an inspiring musical experience but also opportunities for cultural exchange and friendship.
